I have been wanting to test Inika organic vegan lipsticks for a while and finally it's time to do so. They do have quite some colors that I like, however, many of them also have pearlescent shine, of which I am not a fan. So I chose those two colors which have matt finish and work generally on warm skin tone like mine.

Shades:

• Pink Poppy – This is a vibrant coral red color with orange tone. Suitable for everyday wear. This color reminds me of Zao lipstick's Orange Red shade. However it has slightly more red tone in it.
• After Dark – This is a vibrant brick red color with warm tone. It is great for going out or traveling when you want to add strong red color that pops. It reminds me of Zao lipstick's Dark Red shade, but it's more vibrant and bright.

User Experience:

The texture is very similar to Real Purity, Ecco Bella and Zao lipsticks lipsticks I have previously tried, as many of them are based on castor oil. It goes a bit dry when you apply but they don’t bleed easily and stay on the lips pretty well. The color is pretty pigmented, and shows up well on the lips. It provides enough moisturizing.

The only thing I don't like so much is my Pink Poppy smells strongly like castor oil, which is natural but not my favorite smell. After Dark is slightly better with a hint of citrus flavor. Perhaps they're made from different batches or formula?

Package:

The package is smooth matt plastic, which is nice to touch. I also like the muted golden color on black background, such an elegant combination. Use within 12 months after opening.
